Guided by a steady hand rather than a computer, the embroidery grows line by line, thread by thread. No two are alike, each design bearing the subtle rhythm of the artisan who stitched it. 

These soft, earthy tones are achieved through a natural dye process using plants and minerals, carried out by skilled artisans in India.

Often called “raw silk,” silk noil is spun from shorter fibers left over from the making of other silks. The result is a fabric with a soft, nubby texture and matte surface that feels cozy and lived-in, almost like handwoven cotton.
