Artist's Inspiration for this collection: "Inspired by the iconic Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo, who brilliantly used vivid colors and her own, raw experiences to inform her work. The OG queen of the selfie (and bold brow), Frida was incredibly resilient, enduring so much hardship - polio, near-fatal bus accident, a tumultuous relationship, episodes of severe depression. I remember learning about her and her work in my art history classes and feeling so in awe and inspired. I hadn't yet discovered @brenebrown so I didn't have the language to describe what I admired. But I know now that it was Frida's vulnerability and how she used that essence in her paintings that was so impactful to me." -Andrea
