Shibori printing involves taking a hooked needle and plucking sections of the cloth. Then a thread is looped around each section twice. The resulting dyed cloth has an interesting pattern in the fabric as well as a water-like design. This bright and sunny cotton maxi-dress was hand dyed using the shibori method in Jaipur, India. It fits loosely and comfortably making it good for a variety of shapes and sizes and ties on one shoulder. Because it is hand dyed each dress will have slight variations in the color and pattern placement.
