Binge Knitting was born when design students at Parsons with a fascination for the handmade and avid knitters started creating cold-weather accessories for close friends in NYC. As their need to create increased with each stitch, the desire to influence a more sustainable and ethical fashion industry grew as well.
Barbara & Carolina believe the fashion supply chain should be transparent and working conditions in manufacturing should be kind. Today, they collaborate with female artisans in Mexico, their native country and now the home base of their business. What started out of a mid-town New York apartment has now grown into an evolving community of makers with the power to make a positive change.
